Slippery Rock sits at the outer edge of our 25-mile radius, in Butler County. The borough has dense, older housing around the university, and the surrounding townships are heavily wooded with oak, maple, hickory, and beech on rolling ground that drops toward Slippery Rock Creek.
In town, the work is clearance and hazard removal around rentals and older homes where trees were never pruned back off the roofline. Out in the townships, it is bigger timber, driveway clearing, and taking out standing dead ash and beech before it comes down on its own.
Steep creek-side lots need planned rigging and the right machine placement, which is most of the reason we quote them on site rather than over the phone. Estimates in Slippery Rock are still free — we just want to see the access before putting a number on it.
